I have always been interested in our bodies – anatomy, movement and the role nutrition plays in health. I developed a love for running in high-school and ran cross-country in college where I earned a BS in Human Development in 2001. I completed an MBA in 2003 and an 800-hour Pilates certification in 2004, lead by Romana Kryzanowska, an direct apprentice of Joseph Pilates.


I attended on-going teacher training from Pilates Aligned of Beverly Hills, while living in California, and completed the Breast Cancer Exercise Specialist (BCES) training through the Pink Ribbon Program in 2018. I am trained in CoreAlign by Balanced Body and have been certified through the Pilates Method Alliance.

Through teaching pilates I have expanded my practice to include strength and cardio elements as well as breath-work and mindfulness. After all these years, movement practice is still an exciting, ever-evolving passion.

My teaching style aims to address each individual's specific needs and fitness level while fostering community and connection. I’m excited to begin our journey together.

She makes every class challenging yet successful for the beginner as well as the advanced student. I always appreciate a teacher that give modifications. Also, you never get bored because Laura comes up with the most interesting combinations of exercises and never repeats the same sequence in the same class.

Laura is an exceptional Pilates instructor. I've worked with her for over 5 years in both group classes and private lessons. She always adjusts the workouts to what my body needs and pays attention to how I'm performing the exercises. She's also a certified Pink Ribbon Program instructor and after my bilateral mastectomy worked with me to eliminate the stiffness and soreness post surgery and helped me regain full mobility and flexibility. Practicing with Laura is always fun and filled with laughter and positive results.
